I INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENGLISH TEACHING IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Learning languages, and particularly English, has become a basic tool for all the students in our educational system. The mastering of languages is of vital importance in order to provide all our young people with the appropriate training for a better professional and personal development. The study of languages is not limited to the initial learning stages, but it is a long-term process that covers the entire life. In Spain, educational institutions are carrying out great efforts to incorporate this type of learning and offer all their students a high quality education in the field of languages. The application of new technologies in the teaching of languages in educational institutions in Europe and the USA, research carried out in the last few years to improve this kind of education, the success of programs implemented both in schools and universities, as well as the incorporation of new technologies in language teaching, the need to offer the quality and prestige training our society demands, have resulted in the organization of this technical, scientific and practical Conference.
Being aware of the effort and work teachers and school management teams are making, and of the need of going on heightening language learning in educational institutions, the I International Conference on English Teaching in Educational Institutions – EICE 2016 – will be held in Valencia, on May 6, 7 y 8, with the aim to contribute to the development of the highest quality language teaching. This conference will provide attendants with a wide view of the different models used in the centers, through experts plenary sessions, workshops and communications, all these based on national and international experiences, as well as good practice.
The I International Conference of English Teaching in Educational Institutions – EICE 2016 – Valencia is of special interest for primary, secondary and university teachers, researchers and policymakers committed to the teaching of English in state, charter or private Educational Institutions, not only as a foreign language, but also in immersion programs (AICOLE/CLIL), British or International Schools, or any other modality.
